This was originally published in the form of a text message to my husband,

But after debating with myself, I figured I'd share the full story here.

So.. I find her like this today.

And after several minutes of interrogation, and illogical answers, I decide to bathe her.

The giddiness abounds as she pretends to be The Little Mermaid for a good length of time..

 
I wash her face and hair. (And don't get me started on that process.. only a black girl could truly understand the techniques involved..)

 Hey, it's getting longer!

*cheers*

 After lotion, clothes, a diaper change on another baby, etc.

 Then I choose a 30 min. protective style..

Aaaaand.. we're good.
