Our New Ride

Our new SCHOOLBUS!! lol..

j/k thank you Honey, we thank you for all you do to make our lives easier!

So here's the story:

I was just passing by the Ford Lithia dealership and briefly asked one of their sales associates what they had in 3rd row seating vehicles. (Don't ask me why, it was just on a whim I guess..) I told him my husband would be passing through shortly after me, and that I wouldn't have any time to stop and look because of my kids in the back, but to maybe show HIM a few cars for me.

Little did I know that just a few hours later, my husband would be calling me on the phone from the dealership (still there, yes..) asking me if I would say "yes" to this deal that was on the line for this SUV. They sent me a picture of it. I told him "No" and that I didn't want it, just so he would come home. It was getting late and I was preparing dinner for him and the kids.

Well, another hour or so passes by and again, he is not on his way home, but calls me and wants a "Yes" or "No" on a better offer (lower price and interest rate, plus cloth seats swapped out for brand new leather, etc.) Again, I said "No, please come home."

This happens one more time before I am extremely irritated with this sales person, Terry, who my husband was dealing with. I only found out later, that my "No's" were just driving the price down lower and lower (by thousands of dollars actually) and getting my honey more perks on the deal. Finally Darien just calls me one last time to let me know that he gave the financial underwriter an ultimatum that seemed so ridiculous at the time, that Darien was sure to get a rejection on the offer and be able to come home, after hours of them haggling him into staying there!

But lo and behold, they accepted the offer, and they drove this thing straight into our driveway that night!! SMH.. It was kinda hard to see our Azera go bye-bye that night, but I praise God for lower monthly payments, and finally some space for all these CAR SEATS! lol..

This is the last color in the world I ever wanted to drive btw.. but who cares? I'll just wait it out for a good deal on Groupon or something for some auto body painting if it ever comes our way.
